GOVERNANCE

Dovetail is managed by a Consortium of 14 equal partners from government and non-government including:

  • Alcohol and Drug Service, Statewide Unit (Qld Health)
  • The Hothouse (Qld Health)
  • Child and Youth Mental Health Service, Royal Brisbane Hospital (Qld Health)
  • Statewide Homelessness Initiative (Qld Health)
  • Statewide School-based Youth Health Program (Qld Health)
  • Indigenous Homeless Outreach Team (Qld Health)
  • ATODS Gladstone (Qld Health)
  • ATODS Cairns (Qld Health)
  • The Office for Youth, Department of Communities (Queensland State Government)
  • Kids in Mind, Mater Health Services
  • Open Doors Youth Service Inc
  • Queensland Injectors Health Network (QuIHN),
  • The Youth Support and Advocacy Service (YSAS) Victoria

The Consortium meets twice yearly to oversee the progress of the project and provide strategic advice for the upcoming term.

A smaller subset of the Consortium - known as the Management Advisory Group (or MAG) - meets monthly to oversee operational progress of the project.

Dovetail also provides regular activity reports to the funding body which is Queensland Health's Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment Services Unit.
