ACCESS TRAINING

Dovetail can provide free training and professional development events for workers, services and communities across Queensland on a range of topics related to youth alcohol and drug use.

Depending on the nature of the issue and availability of staff, Dovetail can either deliver the training directly or provide support (financial and otherwise) for the training to be delivered by another provider.

As we are a small team we may not be able to meet all training requests received from across the state.  However we are always happy to assist workers and services with finding and accessing alternative professional development options.

Where possible, training should:

  • be developed in collaboration with a range of stakeholders
  • be open to a broad and diverse range of workers from various agencies
  • showcase local knowledge, skills and speakers that capitalises on knowledge, networks and practice wisdom that already exist
  • facilitate enhanced connections between local agencies
  • enable collaborative future planning
  • address a local professional development need

For more information please Contact Dovetail to discuss your particular training interests.
