The Alcohol and Drug information Service (Qld) provides a confidential and anonymous 24hr telephone counselling service.  They also have specific resources for familly members and significant others.  Freecall 1800 177 833

Family Drug Support aim to assist families throughout Australia to deal with drug issues in a way that strengthens relationships and achieves positive outcomes. They offer a free 24/7 telephone counselling service for people affected by a family member's alcohol or other drug use.

Information and Support Pack for Parents and Families is a 31 page download that has been developed by the Parent Drug Information Service in Western Australia, and contains useful information for parents concerned about alcohol and other drug use by their children.

Family Drug Help (FDH) is a service designed specifically to address the support and information needs of parents, other family members and significant others of someone with problematic alcohol or other drug use.

Counselling Online provides free online counselling for anyone seeking help with their own drug use or the drug use of a family member, relative or friend. Counselling Online is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, across Australia.

Parentline is a confidential telephone service providing professional counselling, support and information for parents and carers of children and young people in Queenslandand the Northern Territory.
