The Rainbow Tick guide to LGBTI inclusive practice was developed by Gay and Lesbian Health Victoria (GLHV). GLHV provide training, support and resources to workers across health, community and educational sectors to improve practices for same sex attracted and gender diverse young people.
The Rainbow Tick guide to inclusive practice provides services with an accreditation process to improve the quality of care they provide to LGBTI staff, clients and volunteers. The Rainbow Tick is based on six inclusive practice standards in the areas of organisational capability, workforce development, consumer participation, welcoming and accessible organisation, disclosure and documentation and culturally safe service provision.
