Testing Times: Drug Checking in the UK

Dovetail’s Cameron Francis recently presented a seminar for Insight titled “Testing Times: Drug checking in the UK with The Loop.”  Cameron spent his holidays in the UK volunteering with drug safety testing organisation The Loop, at the Boomtown Fair festival and in this presentation provides an overview of the service and his experiences.  Drug safety testing (also known as pill testing) involves testing the contents of pills and powers submitted by members of the public, and providing a brief intervention alongside the test result.
