Yarning Straight Out: New alcohol and other drug online resource for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients

Oct 25, 2018

Yarning Straight Out (YSO) is an online digital screening and information sharing tool designed to educate 15-25 year old Victorian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people on relevant and facts surrounding drug and alcohol intake. YSO is not a treatment tool, rather it is intended to be used as an early intervention tool by Alcohol and Other Drugs workers and health professionals.

It was developed by YSAS and VACCHO (Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation) who were helped with expert opinion and guidance from many young Aboriginal people and workers from all over Victoria.
