The harm reduction model of drug treatment: TED talk

The TED talk “The harm reduction model of addiction treatment” is part of the TEDMED series from 2017 but we think it is worth revisiting. Mark Tyndall is a epidemiologist, physician and public health expert from Canada. He was involved in establishing ‘Insite’- a legally sanctioned supervised injecting centre in Vancouver, not be be confused with Insight, Queensland. Mark argues that harm reduction services such as supervised injecting centres, facilitate access to medical and alcohol and drug treatment services.
