New Insight eLearning module - “AOD and the Brain” out now!

Our colleagues at Insight have recently released a new eLearning module titled “AOD and the brain”. This module provides a basic understanding of how substances (both licit and illicit) affect the brain. It includes information on neurobiology and the reward pathway of the brain, pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics, metabolism, intoxication and overdose along with an overview of the mechanisms behind tolerance, dependence and withdrawal.
