Dec 11, 2020
The National Health and Medical Research Council has recently released new national guidelines for reducing the health risks from drinking alcohol. The intention of the guidelines are to provide advice about the health risks so that consumers can make informed decisions about consumption. The new guidelines suggest no more than 10 standard drinks a week and no more than 4 standard drinks on any one day and that young people under the age of 18 and pregnant women should not drink alcohol at all.
