Young Aboriginal Women and Girls
Jun 5, 2020
The National Drug Research Institute (NDRI) has launched a new web resource called “YAWG” - Young Aboriginal Women and Girls. The website is based on the findings of a participatory action research project called “Fighting, Alcohol and Offending: Interventions targeting Aboriginal girls.” The website has been developed as a resource for service providers who work with young Aboriginal women and girls and includes the voices and stories of young women, and is designed to help service providers better understand how to provide support. The website includes audio and video stories, quotes and interviews, along with the research report from the project and a webinar summarising the findings.
