Free access to “Climate Schools” program

May 1, 2020

“Climate Schools” is an evidenced based school alcohol and other drug education program which was developed by researchers from the University of New South Wales and the University of Sydney. Climate Schools has been thoroughly evaluated and has been proven to reduce substance use and harm.

Each module is delivered as a 40 minute lesson, with a mixture of online and in-class material, which is consistent with the Queensland school curriculum.

The program usually costs between $250 and $950 (depending on student numbers) however, given the current challenges facing schools during COVID-19, full access to all resources is being offered for free.
