“Cracks in the ice” information and resources for Aboriginal And Torres Strait Islander people

Dec 10, 2021

This resource has been around for a while now, but we think it's worth re-visiting. “Cracks in the ice” is an online resource focused on methamphetamine. They have recently released the first resources that are part of a package of information specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. There are three short videos that address topics like the effects of ice, how to yarn about ice and understanding the person behind the substance. In addition to this, a list of support services Australia wide has been compiled.

This toolkit was in the making for 2 years and is the result of much community consultation and liaison with expert advisory group of senior Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders. More resources will be released over time, so make sure you check back in.
