Webinar: Working with families to minimise alcohol-related harm - 12pm 27th of October 2021

Child Family Community Australia (a part of the Australian Institute of Family Studies) is hosting a free webinar on 27 October at 12pm Queensland time titled, “Working with families to minimise alcohol related harm”. With alcohol being a strong part of Australian culture it can be difficult for professionals to identify and discuss alcohol-related harm with families. The webinar presenters will outline the evidence of risk factors associated with alcohol-related harm and actions to minimise harm before providing strategies to identify and engage families in this cohort. The webinar will also explore how collaborative care between general services and specialised alcohol and other drug services can support these families.
