The 2021 National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC) Annual Research Symposium will be held online across three days from Wednesday 20th October to Friday 22nd of October.
Wednesday’s speakers will delve into emerging drug trends including psychedelics and new drug treatment for addiction and mental health disorders. Thursday’s topic is global patterns in opioid dependence and treatment: past history, current interventions, and future action. Friday’s online session will present a first look at the 2021 Australian Drug Trends report, which will include fascinating insights into the impacts of covid-19 on drug use trends.
