Video and resources: Improving the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children

The Healing Foundation has worked together with Emerging Minds to develop a video and a series of resources to improve social and emotional wellbeing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. The animated video talks about the impacts of colonisation and the need to rewrite the narrative by creating practices that incorporate culture, ecology, kinship, song, dance, language and stories from ancestors vital for children's social and emotional wellbeing development. Connection to culture, family, community, country and spirit are positive factors to help children grow strong.
