The Talking Point seminar series hosted by Turning Point has an upcoming webinar titled “Testing new medications for methamphetamine use disorder in young people”. Presented by Associate Professor Gillinder Bedi and Dr Alexandre Guérin, the webinar will provide an overview of two studies assessing possible pharmacotherapies for safety and tolerability in young people (15-25) experiencing methamphetamine use disorder. The first study looks at the safety and tolerability of two doses of ketamine. The second will test the safety and tolerability of 8 weeks of non-intoxicating cannabidiol for lowering methamphetamine use. The webinar is free and will be screened online Wednesday the 23rd of February 2022 at 12:00pm to 1:00pm (QLD).
