
Webinar: Indigenous excellence in reducing smoking prevalence

The Australasian Professional Society on Alcohol & other Drugs (APSAD) are hosting a webinar titled “Indigenous excellence in reducing smoking prevalence”.
The webinar will be presented by Dr Raglan Maddox, Director of the Tobacco Free Program at the National Centre for Epidemiology and Public Health, Australian National University. Dr Maddox’s research has a focus on tobacco use in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and aims to help First Nations communities understand and improve their own community-driven tobacco strategies. The webinar will explore lessons that can be learned from Indigenous tobacco control since 2004-05 and where to from here.
