New Training Resources for Telephone Counselling

Given the Covid 19 pandemic telephone based counselling has become common in Queensland. To support workers improve their telephone counselling skills, Insight have collaborated with the National Centre for Clinical Research on Emerging Drugs (NCCRED) and Adis 24/7 Alcohol & Drug Support Queensland to create a Telephone Counselling “toolkit” which is hosted on the Insight website.  The toolkit contains two eLearning modules covering both foundational concepts and managing complex calls, along with a suite of short practice videos and resources.
