Eating Disorder Core Skills: eLearning for Mental Health Professionals

The National Eating Disorders Collaboration (NEDC) has developed a comprehensive foundational eating disorder training developed specifically for mental health professionals titled “Eating Disorder Core Skills: eLearning for Mental Health Professionals”. Whilst this training was developed with mental health professionals in mind, it is also applicable to other medical and health professionals.  The course consists of 5 self paced and interactive online modules which include real-life scenarios and activities, videos from leaders in the field and people with a lived experience, up to date resources and a formal assessment.  The module topics cover: Key Features for Early Identification; Initial Responses; Shared Care; Treatment; and Recovery Support. The full course will take approximately 5 hours to complete.
