National Drug & Alcohol Research Centre recorded webinar: Responding to opioid overdose in the community

The National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre recently presented a webinar titled, “Responding to opioid overdose in the community”. Opioid overdose remains an urgent issue in many communities. Every year people have their lives affected by accidental opioid overdose. Take Home Naloxone (THN) is one of the ways we can respond to this crisis. The recorded presentation includes a brief overview of what is happening in Australia, a look at the basics of what naloxone is, how we can provide THN to our community members, and a review of THN at the Kirketon Road Centre, a Primary Health Care centre in Kings Cross, Sydney.
