Trauma and the Brain: New Video Resource by Dovetail and Insight

Back in 2019, we released a video that has gone on to be one of our most popular, so we thought it was worth sharing again. ‘Trauma and the Brain’ is a short video that explains brain development and the impacts that trauma may have. Understanding how trauma can impact on the brain and brain development is important when working with young people using alcohol and other drugs, as there is often a high prevalence of young people who have experienced trauma in our treatment populations.
