Webinar: Smoking Cessation: Tobacco Harms, Vaping & Clinician Attitudes

The Turning Point “Connect and Learn” webinar series recently hosted a webinar titled: “Smoking Cessation: Tobacco Harms, Vaping & Clinician Attitudes”.  The webinar is presented by Dr Vicky Phan who is an Addiction Psychiatrist working at Turning Point Eastern Treatment Services and a lecturer for the Master of Addictive Behaviours course at Monash University.  The webinar starts by providing information on different tobacco and nicotine products then goes into prevalence and burden of smoking data before detailing information on tobacco smoking in AOD populations. Dr Phan then outlines clinical responses to smoking and ends the webinar with smoking cessation strategies including vaping and harm reduction.
