International Family Drug Support Day – 24 February 2023

Family Drug Support Australia (FDS) is a service that provides information, education and support families of people who use substances. Each year on the 24th of February, FDS hold events around Australia to mark International Family Drug Support Day. The overarching theme for the day is “support the family, improve the outcome”. There are in-person events planned for Rockhampton and the Gold Coast, as well as an event to be held at Parliament House in Brisbane. In 2023 there is also a specific focus on the theme “harm reduction helps keep everyone safe”.
