In the era of changing cannabis laws, there is increasing public health concern about parents using cannabis.  It has led healthcare providers, researchers, and governments to caution against cannabis use among parents, citing potential negative effects on parenting and parent-child relationships. This webinar will review the evidence on parental cannabis use and parenting. It will address key assumptions, logics, and tendencies prevalent in this field and will shed light on the perspectives of parents who consume cannabis during early parenthood. The webinar, presented by Dr Tristan Duncan, Research Fellow at Turning Point and Monash University, will conclude by urging reflection on the implications for service provision and policy-making.
