National Drug & Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC) launches new video series “Drugs and the Body”

The National Drug & Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC) have launched a new video series hosted by Professor Shane Darke titled “Drugs and the Body”. This series of nine lectures, for AOD workers, examines the effects of the major licit and illicit drugs on the body and mind. Professor Shane Darke discusses a range of topics including withdrawal, toxicity, mortality, the effects on the major organ systems and mental health.
